Julia is from France and Nate is from Vermont. They met through a childhood friend of Nate’s and bonded over their love for the outdoors and adventure. They wanted to share their love for Vermont with Julia’s family and picked the most magical place; Shangri-La Farm.
The food was all family style and served on boards on the ground. The guests sat and lounged on pillows under a tent to break bread from Farm House Catering and Douglas Sweets. Nate’s mom is a potter and she and Julia made all the plates and terra cotta platters as Thank you favors for the guests.
